Nightmare Fuel Podcast--Episode 20--And Encounter with James Joyce


James Joyce was born in this date in 1882 in Dublin, Ireland. Regarded as one of the finest writers in the English language (some would argue, the best) Joyce's reputation has increased with the passing years.

While not a horror writer, he did write honest portrails of the ins-and-outs of city life in Dublin. An Encounter is the second story from his famed anthology Dubliners. It tells the story of two school boys, who meet up with the ickiest old man this side of the Liffey.

The story is read in its entirety by myself, Johnny Zombie.
